Volunteer task days

Friends of Cotgrave Country Park

Carrying out essential maintenance and conservation tasks in the park every month throughout the whole year. Activities are varied and include putting up bird and bat boxes, painting benches, improving wildlife habitats, hedge-laying, and more. Nottinghamshire County Council staff provide equipment, training and refreshments. It's a great way to meet new people and find out more about the park.

What skills do I need?

No skills necessary. Tasks can be tailored to suit age and ability. No prior training is required and all tools and equipment are provided.

Dates are published on our Website and on FaceBook. Task days take place on 1st Tuesday of the month 2nd Sunday of the month 3rd Thursday of the month 4th Sunday of the month We meet at 10am and finish about 3pm. You can choose how much you do and how long you stay
