People with practical or organizational skills

Our volunteers are usually people who have a practical skill and a place at home where they practice their skills.  Or they could be people with a professional interest in disability issues, or people willing to take on a role organising a new group.

What skills do I need?

The ability to think in a practical, innovative way.  Good design skills and profficient in areas such as woodwork, metalwork, electronics, plastics, etc.

Or, a health professional who can have an advisory role.

Or, someone who is good at organising and communication.  To help run the group and liase with our national Head Office.

We are trying to find suitable people who would operate under the guidance of existing branches in Leicestershire and Derbyshire, until they feel that they have the ability to form a separate group.
