Nature Conservation Work Party

Friends of Bingham Linear Park

To carry out management plan activities such as scrub clearance, removing small trees, cutting back vegetation, litter picking.

Wear old clothes as can get dirty and scratched. Path is rough so wear stout shoes or boots. Clothes need to be appropriate to the weather conditions - we sometimes walk up to 3kms from the road. We provide tools and gloves but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves if you prefer.

We meet at the top of the steps by Tithby Road bridge (which is between Mill Hill Road and Langar Road) at 10:00 am. We usually finish around noon but you can leave any time before that.  Bring your own refreshments. There are no toilets.

Suitable for Duke of Edinburgh volunteering.
