2025 Postcard Art Auction Volunteer Coordinators

Join Us in Supporting Children with Life-Limiting Illnesses Through Art

The 2025 Postcard Art Auction is a nationwide initiative showcasing original postcard-sized artworks, generously created and donated by artists, celebrities, VIPs, and supporters. This online exhibition will launch in August 2025, with the auction going live in October 2025.

100% of the proceeds will go toward providing creative materials and granting wishes to children receiving care via NHS Children’s Hospitals and Trusts.

 

We are looking for motivated and friendly individuals to help coordinate this special event.


Responsibilities include:

 

  • Contacting Art Clubs and Societies (by phone and email)
  • Inviting members to participate in the auction
  • Liaising with our charity volunteers and artists
  • Organising the delivery of donated postcard artwork to our charity’s address
  • Logging and cataloguing all incoming donations
  • General administrative support
  • Working from home- full/part time

What skills do I need?

Communication Skills

Clear and professional phone and email communication

Ability to build rapport with artists, volunteers, and art clubs

Persuasive and friendly invitation style for encouraging participation

Organisation & Administration

Efficient record-keeping and data entry (cataloguing donations)

Time management to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines

Tracking and following up on contacts and deliveries

Attention to Detail

Accurate logging of donations and artist information

Careful handling of artwork and related documentation

Interpersonal Skills

Friendly, approachable, and empathetic manner

Comfort working with diverse groups (artists, charity volunteers, community members)

Self-Motivation & Independence

Ability to work remotely without supervision

Initiative to follow through on tasks

Arts & Community Engagement Interest (not essential, but a plus)

Understanding or appreciation of art

Passion for charity and community events
